The role

The Immunology Application Scientist (IAS) is a role that will apply their scientific knowledge of research in cellular immunology to generate in-house proof of concept data, using the Molecular Pixelation Assay, invented by Pixelgen. The IAS will also work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement immunology product strategies based on customer needs and market trends, in order to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute immunology experiments to generate proof of concept data in various application examples in single cell spatial proteomics.

• Work within cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate market opportunities for Pixelgen’s immunology products

• Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific, technological and market developments in the immunology field and provide insights to inform product development and marketing strategies

• Write technical documents and presentations including application notes for the product

• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop product plans, messaging and promotional materials

• Participate in conferences, workshops and other industry events to increase brand awareness and promote the company’s products

• Some international travel may be necessary

Requirements

• Ph.D. in immunology, cell biology or a related field

• In depth knowledge of immune cell activity and mechanisms

• Preferred experience from immunological drug development such as antibody based therapies and/or cell-based therapies

• Laboratory skills in immunology research such as cell culture, flow cytometry, antibody staining methods, etc.

• Strong understanding of immunology research and technology, with experience in developing and marketing immunology products preferred

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate scientific information to a diverse range of audiences

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a cross-functional team

• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Willingness to travel to customer sites and attend industry events as needed
